David Bamber is a British actor who was born on September 19, 1954 in Walkden, Lancashire, England. He is known for his work in theater, film, and television. Bamber trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and has appeared in numerous stage productions in London's West End and with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Some of his notable television roles include playing Mr. Collins in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," as well as roles in "Doctor Who," "My Week with Marilyn," and "Valkyrie." Bamber also appeared in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Rome" as Marcus Tullius Cicero.
